Model ripped with 3D Ripper DX and Dolphin 4.0.2-1 x86 (32bit) in DX9 in Dolphin. This was painfully slow and on they eyes as every 2d menus flickers like all heck and runs in single digit frames or close to it. This model is made of a few rips as the game kept culling out the nose and underside guns. Done in the Relics of Geonosis mission.

Note:
Nothing about ripping from either Gamecube Star Wars is easy or really fun. They run like crap at best, and crash/lock up as worst. Anytime the game is in cut scene mode the saved models will be distorted sometimes to all heck. (This also applies to Rebel Strike on foot) Rip won’t have the model you want or the model you want will have some part missing or parts spread all over the place and/or moved/rotated so you can’t fix it.

With both any in outer space rips are just ugh. You can get the player ship and cockpit with a few tires to get a rip that has every part but after that it falls apart. 3D Ripper DX and Dolphin 4.0.2 x86 (32bit) in DX9 in Dolphin may be best bet but is so hard to use. Using DX11 with Save Sates to play to the part you want to rip than exit and change DX9 seem to be the way to go. You will also need a plug in for older Blender's cal 3D Ripper DX S4L. It fix the warping of the models. Note textues saved via 3D Ripper DX seem to be lower quality so you should make use of Dolphin's texture dump (in the Graphics) to save textures and get the better quality from the Dolphin dump.

Even so you may find 3D Ripper DX S4L will fail if 3D Ripper DX dosen't write in the info into the .obj file to fix the warping also 3D Ripper DX can fail to rip textures. Depending on how complex the object is you could get the textures by Ninja Ripper than match them to the model ripped with 3D Ripper DX. Also Note Ninja Ripper 1.7.1 seem to be unable to rip texture via DX11 and is not able to use DX12 at all.

Ninja Ripper 2.0.5 will save models with multiable UV Maps and Textures that don't make since and looks like junk data to me (like saving a ground texture to a ship and UV maps that are has all mapping at X0 and Y0). This means you need to remove the textures that are not used and find the right UV Map than delete the wrong ones.

I'm sure there is more I'm missing but if you do try ripping models good luck!
